Growing up as an Afro-German kid in Germany’s Ruhr area in search of meaning and identity, reggae has always played a big role in helping me make sense of belonging and community. My selection for Thursday moves between Roots Reggae, Dub, and newer interpretations of the Reggae Revival movement. Highlighting and celebrating the power of unity and solidarity, as it continues to be lived and practiced at the Cute Community Space by its crew, friends and guests, against all odds.
